経歴 Biography: セント・マーチン美術学校などで学び、1983年からは5年間ナショナル・フィルム・アンド・テレビ・スクールに在籍。1982年に「三人の騎士」、1984年に「黒い自転車」を発表。卒業後はフリーランスのアニメーターとなる。1989年の「丘の農場」は、同年アヌシーフェスグランプリを受賞、またアカデミー賞も受賞して、一躍その名を知らしめる。シニカルな作風が特徴。
